“…a journey through American roots, jazz, country, blues, classical and whatever it is that ties them all together.” -F. DeBlaise, City Newspaper

Kinloch Nelson's 45-year-and-counting career has seen everything from solo classical recitals and folk concerts, to club and festival dates with country, rockabilly, jazz, swing, and R & B bands. Nelson has played with such notables as Tom Paxton, Buddy Guy, Danny Gatton, and many notables in today’s fingerstyle guitar scene. Performances credits include: Montreal Jazz Festival; Time/Warner Jazz Festival,Owen Sound Folk Festival; Fretted Instrument Guild of America; NAAM Shows in Nashville & Los Angeles; and The Newport, Montreal, Healdsburg, Santa Barbara, and Woodstock Luthier Invitational guitar festivals. He's been published in Acoustic Guitar Magazine, reviewed in Just Jazz Magazine, and interviewed in Fretboard Journal, and can be heard on Heartland, BKN-jr, Sampler and Tompkins Square Records.

“In a genre where players often seem to rush to mysticism, Nelson plays here as if he has all the time in the world to leave his mark." -David Fricke, Rolling Stone

“Kinloch Nelson’s terrific recent record release, Partly on Time, comes to us via the ever-reliable Tompkins Square label. Rescued from age-old tapes, the slightly lo-fi sound here is deliciously warm and stony, the perfect setting for Nelson’s laid-back instrumental compositions. Nelson is an original; he rambles but never meanders, wanders but never gets lost. A total gem, well worth your time.” -Tyler Wilcox, aquariumdrunkard.com

Bernie Heveron is a multi-instrumentalist and educator who lives and works in Rochester, NY. He performs primarily with singer-songwriters. In his tenure in these groups he opened shows for countless groups, among them Arlo Guthrie, Steve Goodman, 10,000 Maniacs, Commander Cody, The Little River Band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and REM. He has recorded for Atlantic Records, Epic Records, and many independent labels.
