As many of you already know, the Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas sound track was officially released for the first time this year in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the film. The CD is available now, everywhere where music can be purchased!
What you may not know is there will also be an exclusive vinyl release, available only at participating outlets on Record Store Day (Black Friday). Only 2000 copies have been printed into existence, so this may be your only chance to get a copy of this very limited release!
In addition, we will be giving away a pair of tickets at 2PM to four of the seven shows for "The Music of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas (and other Jim Henson favorites)" which will take place the following week at Lovin' Cup over the course of four days (Thu Nov 29 - Sun Dec 2). The show features an all-star lineup from several of Rochester’s favorite bands who will pay homage to this beloved classic with an interactive performance of all its music along with audio and visual samples from the film.
Last but not least... there will be a clearance sale for any unused show tickets! As always, there are a certain number of guest spots reserved for all ticketed shows (VIP, sponsors, staff, etc). We will be going through each show with a fine tooth comb to determine if there any unused spots that can be offered up to the public. This sale will happen from 1:30-2:30PM (or until tickets run out). Stay tuned for updates on that end!
